The changes this year include a resume review and multiple mini-interviews earlier in the process where applicants are evaluated using a point-based system before successful candidates are invited to sit for a pass-fail final interview, EFRS outreach and recruitment liaison Manjinder Nagra said.

“We’re trying to make it a more equitable and a more fair process,” Nagra said. “It’s a way of actually giving more applicants an opportunity to score evenly across the board.”

Hey Guys just heard that Oshawa’s current recruitment is looking to add an additional 20 firefighters to staff a new truck plus retirements.

Unfortunately I still have not heard back.. Unless they changed their program I would think that if you haven’t heard back from the last 4 times and it never said screening in progress, It may mean this time is different – fingers crossed.. please update us when you find out.

Highly recommend work experience programs! I have know students who have worked at Merritt in the WEP and is probably one of the better programs next to Big White
