• 💵 Salary Range: $79,956.24 – $114,834.72 annually
• ⏱️ Hourly Wage: $36.61/hour
• 🏔️ Annual Retention Allowance: $11,000
• 📍 Bi-weekly Remoteness Allowance

• ⏳ Overtime and shift premiums under IAFF Local 2200 agreement
• 📈 Structured wage progression to First-Class Firefighter/EMR within 24 months

🚨 Key Responsibilities

• 🔥 Respond to fires, rescues, hazardous materials incidents, and medical emergencies
• 🚑 Provide emergency medical care at the EMR level
• 🌲 Assist with wildfire prevention, mitigation, and suppression
• 🚒 Operate and maintain firefighting apparatus and ambulances
• 📝 Complete reports, documentation, and administrative duties
• 📚 Participate in ongoing firefighter and EMS training programs

✅ Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• 🎓 High School Diploma or equivalent
• 🚑 Current Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification recognized in Manitoba
• 🚒 NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level I & II
• 🚛 Valid Manitoba Class 4 Driver’s Licence with air brake endorsement
• 🔍 Vulnerable Sector Check and Child/Adult Abuse Registry Checks
