Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) is recruiting up to 60 permanent, full-time Firefighters to join one of Canada’s most respected emergency response teams. 🖐 Combat, extinguish, and mitigate fires under emergency conditions
🖐 Respond to medical, rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency incidents
🖐 Administer emergency medical aid
🖐 Perform rescue, extrication, and technical operations
🖐 Communicate respectfully and inclusively with diverse communities
🖐 Work collaboratively as part of a highly trained emergency response team

🎓 Minimum Qualifications
🖐 High School Diploma or higher post-secondary education
🖐 Educational credential assessment (if educated outside Canada)
🖐 Valid medical certification (must be valid until at least Feb 10, 2026), including one of the following:

Advanced First Aid (80 hrs, Alberta OHS approved)

Medical First Responder (MFR)

EMR, PCP, ACP, EMT, EMT-A, EMT-P

Nursing (RN, LPN, Psychiatric Nurse)

Physician Assistant (PACCC)

Canadian Armed Forces Combat First Aid

💰 Salary & Benefits
🖐 Hourly: $36.445 – $62.477
🖐 Annual: $79,902 – $136,974
