🎯 Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

✅ NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level II Certification

✅ High School Diploma or Equivalent

✅ One Year Post-Secondary Education

OR

✅ One Year Full-Time Relevant Work Experience

• Paramedicine

• Nursing

🚑 Medical & Licensing Requirements

Candidates must have:

✔ Current First Responder (FR) License

OR

✔ Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) License

✔ Valid BC Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Endorsement

✔ Safe Driving Record

✔ Physical and Medical Fitness Meeting NFPA 1582 Standards

✔ Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

✔ Clean Criminal Record Related to Fire Service Employment
