Firefighter / Primary Care Paramedic Responsibilities
As part of this Firefighter Paramedic job in British Columbia, your duties will include:

Fire suppression, rescue, and emergency response
-
Pre-hospital emergency medical care as a licensed PCP
-
Fire prevention, inspections, and public education
-
Daily apparatus, equipment, and fire hall maintenance
-
Ongoing training and operational readiness activities
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:

NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level I & II
-
Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) certification
-
BC Class 3 & 4 Driverβs License with Air Brake Endorsement
-
Ability to obtain Security Clearance
-
Police Information & Vulnerable Sector Check
-
Firefighting and/or pre-hospital care experience
-
Post-secondary education
-
IV Endorsement (asset)
