Applicants wishing to be considered for our recruitment must have their application, written testing and video interview completed by August 31, 2025 all through National Testing Network.

Applicants who are successful in moving further through the process will be expected to:
- Qualify on written testing and complete a pre-recorded video interview through National Testing Network
- Qualify on physical, swim and medical testing requirements (including vision and hearing)
- Provide a Criminal Record Search (no criminal record) when requested during the hiring process.
- Complete an in-person final interview.
- Successful reference checks.

To apply to the Firefighter Eligibility list, please submit an application online through our posting at the National Testing Network firefighter job site for the Kelowna Fire Department job posting at www.nationaltestingnetwork.com and click on firefighter jobs. Applications will not be accepted through the City of Kelowna website or via any other means.
Please ensure that a current Driver’s Abstract (driving history of at least 5 years), a copy of your NFPA 1001, NFPA 472 and your valid First Aid certificate is uploaded with your resume when applying. These documents are required, and your application will not be considered complete until these have been uploaded. Please also upload other related documents or certifications. Once your on-line application has been completed, you will be able to move on in the recruitment process.
